The secret to glow up your face, while maintaining the natural look…

Have you ever got inspired to do your make up like certain celebrities you see on social media but no matter how many makeup Youtube tutorials you’ve watched, still unable to recreate the same look?

If you’re facing this struggle,
MY SECRET to you is to try putting on a pair of COLOURED LENSES and witness how they can transform/ complement your look!

I personally feel that eyes are one of the most beautiful feature of a person. It brings character to a person just by observing their eyes.

Having healthy eyes require effort and care therefore we need to be knowledgeable about the accessories and products we use for our eyes.

Coloured contact lens isn’t a new accessory in our era but the innovation of it in terms of new interesting design and wearable colours in the contact lens market has been very subtle.

Nevertheless, many of you regard only people with long sighted or short sighted disabilities wear coloured lenses.

Some people wear coloured lenses as a beauty accessory.
In my opinion, I think it’s a great way to enhance a person’s look.

I have recently been introduced to a coloured lens named
It is a premium Japanese brand that specializes in coloured lenses.

The LILY ANNA series comes in 4 different colours, all of them are specifically designed to blend with the natural asian eye colours.

The 4 available colours are:
– Brown Manege
– Sarang Brown
– Lily Black
– Keopi Brown

I bought the Brown Manege and the Sarang Brown

The reason I chose these 2 colours were because my eyes has a slight brownish colour and these 2 series has been designed to blend naturally with brown-ish black eyes.

The LILY ANNA lens packaging is really cute too! It comes in a simple pastel pink and blue box. It is well packaged to prevent damages to the lenses.

The first colour that I tried on me was the Brown Manege colour. It is a more natural brown colour – slightly on the darker shade of brown.

This is how I look like wearing the Brown Manege coloured lens

I honestly love this colour! I love this colour because it looks completely natural and it blended well with my eyes.

The colour of the lens looked very similar with my hair colour as well! Every feature on my head looked very put together and I am loving this look so much!

This is the up and close picture of the contact lens packaging and how the coloured lens looked in my eyes at close distance

Now I’m going to show you the other coloured lens that I bought.

This is me wearing the Sarang Brown coloured lens

The Sarang Brown lens has a lighter shade of brown thus it is more obvious that I’m wearing a coloured lens.

I personally don’t mind a lighter shade of brown to my eyes as it portrays a different look than compare to my natural eye colour.

**I look more Korean/Japanese in this Sarang Brown lenses – which I don’t mind!

Each of LILY ANNA series coloured lenses comes in a box containing 10 lenses (5 pairs).

These are daily disposable lenses thus you can wear the lenses for the whole day and throw them away at the end of the day, after using them.

Here are some of the reviews I read online before deciding to purchase the LILY ANNA coloured contact lens series.

Ms. Celine (30 years old)

I bought the Brown Manege, Sarang Brown and the Lily Black colour. The colours matches my eye colour perfectly! I love how natural I look while wearing them!

Ms. Fiona (28 years old)

The Lily Black colour enhances my eyes so naturally! I’ve been wearing them everyday, whether it is working or going on a night out. I love it! Highly recommended!

Ms. Chisa ( 25 years old)

My eyes have a deeper look to it. It also enhances the natural colour of my eyes and making it seem slightly bigger! I feel really comfortable in them and would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

My advise is to constantly have eye drops with you throughout the day.

It is very important to keep our eyes hydrated.

Without adequate moisture, our eyes will become dry and uncomfortable. Understanding how hydration problems occur can help you prevent dry eyes, one of the most common types of eye problems.

I did some research and compiled a few tips about how to ensure your eyes constantly stay hydrated:

  • Use eyedrops throughout the day if you are prone to dry eyes. Look for brands that contain no preservatives.
  • Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water every day to keep your entire body hydrated.
  • Remember to blink when using your computer, reading, or playing video games. Take a break at least every hour to prevent dry eyes.
  • Stay away from cigarette smoke, or any other smoke, which tends to dry out your eyes.
  • Stay in moderate environment. Extreme cold/ hot rooms can dry out your eyes.

So what actually sold me on trying out these lenses are as below:

  1. 55% Water Content – The moisture content of the lenses are preserved, therefore the rate of moisture loss in your eyes will be slower, which means the lenses will stay comfortable for a longer period of time.
  2. UV Cutting Function – The lens is specifically designed to protect your precious eyes from UV rays.
  3. 14.2mm Diameter – It enhances the colours of the iris without obstructing our vision.
  4. Base Curve of 8.6mm – It fits the cornea of the eye perfectly without sliding around your eyes when wearing it.

For my personal opinion, I had no regrets trying out the LILY ANNA series of coloured contact lens as I had a good experience using it.

The LILY ANNA series has a good range of natural looking coloured contacts thus it is very suitable for daily use.
I could wear it for my daily use and feel confident of the way I look.
